Top Gym in the UK for Customer Service in the National Fitness Awards 2011

and runners up in the Gym Team of the Year Award as well!!

Hot off the Press and back from the Awards Ceremony on Friday 25th November.

Run by "Workout" the UK's No. 1 leading industry magazine, hundreds of entries were received in each category, with the expert panel of judges going through the nominations to choose the short list and then to pick the worthy winners of which we are now one!!

The aim of the Awards is to pay tribute to those clubs who have demonstrated outstanding commitment in their chosen field and we are delighted - it is a real tribute to our team and to our members belief in us.

A huge thank you to our members for their unswerving support for us - we hope we have done you proud!!

Our expertise extends from fully qualified and experienced Fitness Instructors through to Advanced Personal Trainer status with many years expertise between us. We are all REP's registered and are first aid qualified. We are also part of the GP Referral Scheme and are BUPA approved.

We offer an experienced, friendly and understanding approach for people  with all levels of fitness ability and different levels of health including:

• Those who have not previously exercised regularly and who may feel apprehensive about using a fitness facility.
• Those who are anxious about exercising in a communal gym - our exclusive use policy means we can offer you the guaranteed privacy of your own gym room, either working on your own with support where needed, or with a Personal Trainer for one to one attention.
• People who are used to exercising but wish to focus on their fitness in privacy.
• People recovering from injury or illness, and those with a physical disability
• Athletes who wish to use our coaching expertise.
• People who would like the benefit of attending small classes in our Studio.

Our Philosophy

The Fitness Centre, Local Gym and Studio, based in Wellow near Romsey, Hampshire has developed and grown with the support of many regular clients over the years into the comprehensive facility we have today.

We always aim though, to retain the intimate nature of a small Centre by getting to know everyone personally and by maintaining our unique exclusive use policy which ensures privacy when you exercise.
